Herve is first a man of prayer, then a seasoned singer-songwriter, a composer, an arranger, a record producer and a musician. He turned to the Word of God (Scripture) for much of the inspiration. He has made Contemporary Catholic Liturgical music his favorite style.
It all starts with the choir. At home everyone is involved in a Church choir. He began his music lessons at the age of 15 and immediately wrote his poems under score. He rubs shoulders with renowned composers who will initiate him. The project of a personal disc was born in 2006, with the composition of a hymn for the 40th anniversary of the presence of the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (CICM) in Cameroon. This first album contained nine tracks.
His second opus followed in 2012: a single commemorating the 150th anniversary of CICM.
In 2018, his third opus was released—a single marking the 150th anniversary of the death of Théophile Verbist, the illustrious founder of the CICM Missionaries.
His fourth work, composed in 2022, honored the bicentenary of Verbist’s birth (celebrated in 2023).
In 2023, his fifth opus was written for Pope Francis’ first apostolic visit to Mongolia. For this historic event, he co‑wrote the lyrics and composed the music for the official anthem, conducted the choir during Mass with the Holy Father, and contributed eight original songs in Mongolian.
His sixth opus (2025) is the musical arrangement and Mongolian adaptation of the hymn Jubilee of Hope (2025 edition).
That same year, his seventh opus marked his debut on major global digital platforms with the single Clothe Us, Lord.
Finally, his eighth opus is the full album Journeying Together (2025), featuring ten original songs. He works with several artists in Africa, America, Asia and Europe. His songs are sung worldwide. He is the co-founder (in 2004), with the father Marino NGUEKAM, of the hymn of the Saint-Cyprien Theological School of Ngoya in Cameroon.
He has been a priest-religious-missionary of the Roman Catholic Church since 2009 and a member of CICM since 2002. He is a member of the Cameroonian National Society of Musical Art and a member of the Civil Society for Literature Rights and Dramatic Arts.

Hervé est d'abord un homme de prière, puis un auteur-compositeur-interprète, arrangeur, producteur et musicien chevronné. Il s'est tourné vers la Parole de Dieu (l'Écriture) pour une grande partie de l'inspiration. Il a fait de la musique Liturgique Catholique Contemporaine son style de prédilection.
Tout commence avec la chorale. A la maison tout le monde est engagé dans une chorale d'Eglise. Il commence ses cours de musique à l'âge de 15 ans et, aussitôt, rédige sous partition ses poèmes. Il côtoie des compositeurs de renom qui vont l'initier. Le projet d’un disque personnel est né en 2006, lors de la composition d’un hymne pour le 40ᵉ anniversaire de la présence des Missionnaires du Cœur Immaculé de Marie (CICM) au Cameroun. Cet album comportait neuf titres.
Son deuxième opus a suivi en 2012 : un single commémorant le 150ᵉ anniversaire du CICM.
En 2018, son troisième opus est paru : un single marquant le 150ᵉ anniversaire de la mort de Théophile Verbist, illustre fondateur des Missionnaires CICM.
Son quatrième œuvre, composée en 2022, rendait hommage au bicentenaire de la naissance de Verbist (célébré en 2023).
En 2023, son cinquième opus a été écrit à l’occasion de la première visite apostolique du pape François en Mongolie. Pour cet événement historique, il a coécrit les paroles et composé la musique de l’hymne officiel, dirigé le chœur lors de la messe avec le Saint-Père, et présenté huit de ses chants écrits en mongol.
Son sixième opus (2025) est l’arrangement musical et l’adaptation en langue mongole de l’hymne Jubilee of Hope (édition 2025).
La même année, son septième opus marque ses débuts sur les grandes plateformes numériques internationales avec le single Clothe Us, Lord.
Enfin, son huitième opus est l’album complet Journeying Together (2025), comprenant dix chants originaux. Il travaille avec plusieurs artistes en Afrique, Amérique, Asie et Europe. Ses compositions sont chantées dans le monde entier. Il est le co-fondateur (en 2004), avec le père Marino NGUEKAM, de l’hymne de l’École Théologique Saint-Cyprien de Ngoya au Cameroun.
Il est prêtre-religieux-missionnaire de l'Église Catholique Romaine depuis 2009 et membre de CICM depuis 2002. Il est Sociétaire de la Société Nationale Camerounaise de l'Art Musical et Sociétaire de la Société Civile des Droits de la Littérature et des Arts Dramatiques.
